View PostThe shelter where I volunteer opened a cat cafe called The Second Cup and when Simon was off from school last week (before he got sick) we decided to check it out. For $15 each you can hang out with lots of cats for an hour. It also includes a drink, but don’t expect anything fancy – the price is truly more of a donation for the time spent with the cats. They are all available for adoption and I think meeting them in this location is a great way to decide on a cat you’d like to adopt! I was a little nervous since I’m allergic to cats, but I didn’t have much of an issue while there for an hour and would have stayed longer if allowed. Simon and I were the only people there so we got a lot of attention from the cats!
