Happy Wednesday! Today I’m joining in for the Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. What’s something you enjoy now that your younger self would never have appreciated?
Probably reading the occasional non-fiction book, which does sometimes remind me of being in school and having to write papers and such! But now I read because I want to!
2. What was peaceful about today?
My early mornings at home can be peaceful.
3. It’s National Blueberry Day (July 8). Will you celebrate? You can have one of the following right now-a slice of blueberry pie, a warm blueberry muffin, or a stack of blueberry pancakes…which do you choose?
This or that-blueberries or raspberries? blueberries or strawberries?
I enjoy blueberries so I should celebrate! I think I’d choose the blueberry muffin. I like raspberries and strawberries too – so can I take them all?
4. Do you need a break? From what?
Things have been ok for the most part, but it’s very possible that when you read this, I will be wanting a break from helping my dad after his hernia surgery!
5. What has surprised you most about getting older?
I guess it’s not super surprising but the first thing to come to mind is my weight struggles. I didn’t have that issue as a child or teen.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I am once again living vicariously through one of my kids. Simon sent these photos from Spain!

He said Gibraltar was beautiful as well.
Tell me your answer to any of these!
