I loved that Simon went apple picking with his friends and shared this cute pictures with me:
And I loved receiving this picture from each of the kids’ parents that Zachary had lunch with. They are all friends from home who are studying this year in Israel.

These two prompts seem the same to me, so I’ll say I’m both anticipating and looking forward to Sukkot. Tomorrow is Yom Kippur, and that holiday is not quite as fun. So it’s nice that we follow it up next week with my favorite holiday of Sukkot.

It is still super hot outside so I’m still wearing t shirts and shorts or sometimes skirts. I still want shorter skirts but I’ve been having trouble finding ones with pockets that aren’t too expensive. This week, I took out all the shirts and cardigans from my closet that I’m not wearing anymore. I still have to go through the other sections in my closet, like pants, dresses, and sweaters!

I cooked all of our Rosh Hashanah foods, mainly using the same recipes I used last year, which was convenient for me as someone who stresses over recipes! I still have to figure out what I’m bringing for breaking the fast tomorrow night!
