Happy Wednesday! Today I’m joining in for the Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. What’s a lesson you’ve learned from a mistake?
It’s funny, if my kids make mistakes I hope they’ll learn to do better the next time, but right now I can’t think of anything I’ve personally learned! Maybe just to not procrastinate.
OK, I’ve got something. After falling and breaking my ankle, I’ve learned to step much more carefully.
2. Do you salt food while you’re cooking or let diners add their own? What’s a food you think must be salted? Do you like pepper?
When I cook, I follow recipes, so if it says to add salt, I do! The main thing I make without a recipe is chicken soup, and I do add salt, as well as pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. What was the last gathering you attended and what did you do there?
I think it was the annual school dinner. We socialized and ate a bit, then we listened to presentations about why we should donate to the school.
4. Your favorite shade of purple? What’s your favorite purple flower?
I like most every purple! It was always my favorite color until I decided I like teal better. I love violets, irises, orchids…and all the rest!
5. Share a favorite spring travel memory.
We don’t really travel in the spring all that often. This year is the first year in a lot of years that we’re going to NJ for Passover. Here are some memories from another spring trip to NJ / NY:
6. Insert your own random thought here.
What am I letting go of this week? I guess stress over packing. It will happen…we will get there.
Tell me your answer to any of these!
