Jessica Blackwood is a likeable main character who is intelligent and quick on her feet. The strange thing is the story of her ex, Damian, who repeatedly appears in her life, sometimes disguised as alternate personas. Damian seemed to be the one who solved the mysteries, rather than Jessica herself, although she was the one using his information to point her in the right direction. I still find it hard to believe that Damian wasn’t involved somehow beyond just being able to understand the killer.
As far as mysteries go, this was a creative and fun one. I would definitely read more books in this series and look forward to learning more about Jessica when those books are available.
