Welcome to the Share Our Lives link up hosted by myself, Adrienne, Jen, and Joanne! We are sharing our lives this year on the second Monday of each month, and this month’s prompt is hostess gift ideas.
Usually when I go to someone’s house for a meal, I offer to bring something to contribute. If they say they don’t need anything, we will usually bring a bottle of wine. I think the most typical hostess gifts people bring are wine and flowers.
If we are visiting someone out of the area, I like to give them something from Kansas. My kids have brought Kansas BBQ sauce to people they are staying with.
We have also bought and gifted candy platters.
There are definitely ideas online for more creature gift ideas! I would choose something that I personally would like to receive.
