1. What was your favorite part about growing up in your hometown?
That’s a hard one. I wasn’t a huge fan of my hometown! I did like it’s locality to NYC and to Newark Airport! Our July 16 fireworks show every summer was particularly good. I enjoyed going to the festival that accompanied the fireworks.
2. Do you prefer ‘material’ gifts or ‘experience’ gifts? If you answered experience, tell us about one you’ve received and truly enjoyed.
I can go for either. The best experience gift I received was a Disney Cruise. This year for my birthday I really wanted to go to the Chiefs game, but the tickets were way too expensive.
3. Is brown a color featured prominently in your home decor? Your wardrobe? What’s a favorite brown thing you own? Of the brown foods listed here which one is your favorite and/or most often consumed… brown sugar, brown rice, pretzels, coffee, dates, cloves, German chocolate cake, whole wheat bread?
No, I don’t decorate with or wear a lot of brown. I have a light brown shirt that I really like but since I’ve gained weight, I can’t wear it anymore. Of the foods listed I most often and most love coffee!

I love the Charlie Brown characters…let me take the quiz and see! I got Lucy on the first and Marcie on the second. I’m going to say I’m most like Marcie!
5. What’s a favorite item you’ve purchased this year?
I can’t think of anything! I’ve purchased some clothes that I like, but nothing stands out as a main favorite.

The boys are going to a youth group weekend this weekend so it’ll just be me and Dave here. Plus the dogs we’re watching until they go home! I’m not sure what to do about these dogs because they keep waking up in the middle of the night! They used to like sleeping with Simon, but now they seem to want me…
