For today’s random Friday things post I have some dog pictures as usual, and some fun times to share from the Jewish Culture Fest that was held here this past Sunday.

My silly dog friends:
Ozzie emptied all of the stuffed animals from this bin and played with them one by one.
Duncan somehow buried himself under this blanket.
Our newest friend Murray managed to propel his small self onto our tall bed. Dave sent me this picture.

Gabbie came home for the weekend last week. She had Monday off school and took off from her Thursday classes as well. She didn’t tell anyone she was coming (besides Dave and me) so she surprised Simon and Zachary. She also surprised her good friends who were so excited to see her when she came into synagogue Saturday morning!

Jewish Culture Fest was scheduled for this past Sunday before the war in Israel started. At first I wondered if it should be canceled, but it was a great way to come together as a community. There was art, food, a concert, and more.
My falafel, even though you can only see the tzatziki sauce!
There were electric lawn mowers to check out (as well as electric cars)
Simon and his friend had their caricatures drawn. They thought it was hilarious that the artist added a mustache to Simon’s.

At the end of the event, a solidarity gathering was held for Israel. Our state representative, Sharice Davids, was standing in front of me and my friend asked her to be in a picture with our kids. This group of teens go to school with and / or are good friends with Simon and Zachary (who had already gone home at that point).
Have a great weekend!
