The first Wednesday of the month is the Currently link up and I’m once again linking up with Jennifer. This month’s prompt words are loving, savoring, celebrating, remembering, and trying.
[loving]
I am once again using the “loving” prompt to list some of the things that brought me joy over the past month!
– A summer schedule
– Getting rid of a lot of items from my pantry
– Watching dogs
– Visiting my 50th state
– Celebrating Zachary’s birthday
– Getting to see my brother and family in SF
– Meeting some new people in town
– Puppy yoga
[savoring]
I should be savoring these slower paced summer days! And I mostly am. I do tend to keep busy with appointments and I need to schedule even more!
[celebrating]
This week we celebrated Simon putting on tefillin for the first time. If you’ve been here awhile, you may remember when Zachary first put on tefillin – he looks so little! Tefillin is a set of small black leather boxes containing scrolls of parchment inscribed with verses from the Torah. Tefillin is worn by observant adult Jewish males during weekday morning prayers.
(they wear them on opposite arms because Zachary is lefty)
[remembering]
Pretty much remembering when Zachary was only 12 going on 13, since I just reread the posts I wrote about the above and his bar mitzvah, both during early Covid days! Simon is better off having his celebrations this year! I also need to remember to work on his invitations!
[trying]
Trying to get back to decluttering still after taking a break for our vacation! I know what the next steps should be but haven’t gotten there yet. I did help Gabbie with a few drawers and started taking things out of my store all guest room closet too!
Now tell me something you are currently doing!
