The first Wednesday of the month is the Currently link up, but Anne hasn’t provided us with prompt words this month. Therefore, I decided to go back to last August and repeat the same words that she gave us back then! The words are admiring, anticipating, enjoying, spending, and saving. Here’s what I’m currently up to!
[admiring]
I admire people who get a lot done. Simon is away at camp and I should be taking the time to make a dent in my mess, but instead I’m just reading more. I read a whole book on Sunday – oops.
[anticipating]
I’m anticipating when Simon gets back from camp and all of us are home for the first time in 6 weeks! Well, more than that if you count our trip to Canada / NJ before Gabbie left! I’m also anticipating getting back to a regular school schedule. The boys have a full week off after Gabbie goes back. We still need school supplies – specifically a graphing calculator for Simon!
[enjoying]
I’m already enjoying my brief times when I’m alone in the house. Gabbie was supposed to be busy with band camp with the dance team this week but first she was recovering from a bad cold and now the whole band is sick so the dance team is only meeting part of the day without the band. So even with Zachary working, she is around the house. Not that that’s a bad thing! I just like quiet.
[spending]
I’m spending some of my money on Gabbie – we are going to Disney World in February even though it’s not cheap, and we booked her senior photos even though technically I could probably take them myself.
[saving]
We had to clean out our garage because the floor is broken and we’re getting it replaced. I found myself saying that there were things I wanted to save for future grandchildren! Ha!
Now tell me something you are currently doing!
