I haven’t written a Random Friday post in awhile now and I don’t really have much to share that I haven’t already shared here! So here’s a few random kid updates for today.

As you know, Gabbie is in Israel now. She comes home next week though. Dave is meeting her and taking her on another college visit. In case you missed it, I talked about our NYU visit here. She got her AP test scores back and she did great. I registered her to take the ACTs again. Once she gets home, it’s back to dance followed by back to school pretty quickly!

Zachary has been busy working. He works Sunday-Wednesday from 11-7:30! He used his saved up money to buy himself the parts needed to put together a gaming computer system. So when he’s not at work, he’s playing on that. He needs to read a book for school but he still has a month to do that! When I took him for a haircut last week, the hairdresser asked him if he’s excited to go back to school and he actually said he is because he wants to see his friends! He is planning to go on the trip Gabbie is on next summer.

Simon went to camp here for a week. It was a camp where they did community service in the mornings and fun activities in the afternoon. He really liked one of the places the group volunteered, where he helped to sort clothing and pick out clothes to give for a community member in need. Next week, he leaves for sleep away camp for two weeks! We need to pack. He and Gabbie are sad because they won’t see each other between her coming back and him leaving! He also has a book he needs to read for school!
