In a home with three kids and foster dogs that come and go, we always have something in need of cleaning. I was very interested to try the Sustainable Nesting System for sustainable cleaning with AGent+ Cleaner & Protectants. They realized that many of the “green” products available were only slightly less harmful than other undiluted counterparts and that the cleaning products required constant application because they didn’t offer lasting protection. By combining two natural elements, copper and silver, AGent+ created an environmentally safe cleaner that protects surfaces for up to three days after physically cleaning.
Sustainable Nesting System
The Nesting Kit from AGent+ was created with the environment in mind. This system is reusable and creates less waste by greatly reducing plastic reusable packaging and fossil fuel consumption. Its ship weight is less than 2 pounds, with the refill kit at less than 1 pound.
All of these pieces come inside the large container, with the funnel attached inside the lid. You then follow the easy instructions to dilute the cleaner and protectant with water.
Finally, you use the funnel to pour the diluted product into the 12 and 2 ounce bottles, which are then easily used around your house without lugging around a big container.
Uses For AGent+ Cleaner & Protectants
One of the biggest advantages of AGent+ is the many different uses for these products: Inside the car, spray it to remove fungus and bacteria causing odors. Around the house, spray it directly on porous surfaces like couches, rugs, stuffed animals, pet bedding, toys—and leave it to air dry. Easily clean and protect hard surface items around the house such as countertops, door handles, cribs, changing tables, light switches, railings, and more. Of course, I was excited to use the multi-surface cleaner on our dog bed, which was recently used by Mika and will be used by a different dog in the future.
I also used it on my desk chair, which I’m not sure I’ve ever tried to clean before!
Not only does AGent+ clean surfaces, but it also contains the antifungal properties of copper and natural antimicrobial properties of silver. Their products contain an EPA Registered Active Ingredient that helps form a protective net against stain and odor-causing bacteria and fungus. Unlike traditional cleaning products that only work while they are wet, AGent+’s protective net continues working after drying for up to three days.
AGent+’s water-based formulas can be used on almost every porous, semi-porous, and non-porous (hard) surface. Hard Surface can be used to clean and protect non-porous and semi-porous surfaces like tables, countertops, ceramic fixtures, glazed tiles, plastics, and more. When sprayed on a non-porous/hard surface, using a microfiber cloth is recommended for best results. Do not spray directly onto electronics/not recommended for glass.
