This month, one of the prompts for the 52 Frames project was “hello from…” In order to show the community where I live, I decided to take pictures of the prettiest building in Overland Park. It was a little bit cold out when I went, so I had to move quickly and I didn’t walk around the whole building, but I think you can get an idea as to how pretty it is!
This building is the Museum at Prairie Fire. The glass panels are dichroic glass which is material that was developed by NASA to protect its astronauts’ eyes from the radiation of the sun. While on the outside, the colors are red, orange, and yellow, on the inside the glass appears blue and purple.
I’m sure you can see why I consider this the prettiest building in Overland Park!
Now, if you visited somewhere local to you this month, link up with Lauren and me here!
Feel free to save our image and share it in your blog post so others can find the link-up!
