As promised, I’m back to show you the projects my kids made at school for Hanukkah this year! First up, Simon!

Simon and his class made these great menorahs out of toilet paper rolls. The candles are foam pieces attached to craft sticks and can be removed – I put them all in to show how it looks, but currently only the first candle for the first night is in its spot!

Simon also brought home a dreidel with his picture in it! So cute!

This is Zachary’s Hanukkah poster. It has questions that he knew all the answers to and the blessings we say when we light the menorah.

This is Zachary’s cover to a book about the Hanukkah lights.

These pages are from another book he made of the Hanukkah story. I just love the way he draws!

This is Gabbie’s poster with lots of info about Hanukkah on it! Her teacher wrote the Hebrew and she did the coloring.

This is the back of the poster.

And tonight is the first night of Hanukkah so we lit our menorahs! The one in the front goes inside a glass box and we put it outside of our house. That’s what people in Israel do!

Tonight’s presents were courtesy of Aunt Melanie and Uncle Yossi and our cousins in Israel! Simon was wondering why I was giving him a present!

They were both very excited and got to work on their Legos right away! I helped Zachary with his!
Happy Hanukkah!
