After leaving MA, we stayed the night in Providence, RI. From there, we headed over to Newport. Dave and I stayed in Newport when I was pregnant with Gabbie! We had a scheduled tour at the Newport synagogue, which is the oldest synagogue in the United States, having been established in 1763. First, we walked by the wharf a bit.

View PostAfter we left Maine, we were planning to visit Mount Washington in NH. Sadly, the weather was not great and going up the mountain may have been a waste, so we changed our plan and stayed the night in Exeter, NH. Known to me as the hometown of author John Irving, we decided to walk to the Exeter boarding school before leaving town in the morning.
