1. How did you celebrate spring break / Easter as a child?
We don’t celebrate Easter, but Passover usually falls around the same time as Easter and growing up it was sometimes during spring break. Now my kids’ school has spring break for Passover as well. I do remember traveling for spring break in my high school years, although we did most often stay home to celebrate Passover! This year, the plan is to go to NJ for the holiday!
2. Do you spring clean?
Yes, Passover requires a huge house cleaning, so that becomes spring cleaning for me! With going away for the holiday, we don’t have to do as much of a huge cleaning, so I’m happy about that.
3. What’s spring weather like where you live?
It’s usually spring-like by the time Passover gets here, at least we hope it will be warm outside! We have pretty typical weather here, although it’s possible we could still get wintery weather later in March and into early April sometimes.
4. How green is your thumb?
Not green at all!
5. AC on or windows open?
Sadly, I almost never open windows. I don’t even know if any of my house windows open because they’ve been painted shut!
6. How do you decorate for spring / Easter / Passover?
I decorate my entry way seasonally. It’s almost time to switch it up for spring! Here is a picture of my spring decor from last year.
7. How do you get bathing suit / shorts / warm weather ready?
I don’t do anything different really!
8. Is your closet arranged with just the current season’s clothes?
No, I keep everything in my closet / drawers all year.
9. What’s your go to spring uniform?
I like layers of short sleeves and cardigans!
10. What outdoor activities do you enjoy in the spring?
Taking walks, going to the arboretum, baseball games, and just being outside!
