Recently two of my blog friends, Sara and Jessica, decided to host a Favorite Things Blogger Exchange. Jessica had recently hosted a Favorite Things Party, which is when a group of friends get together and each guest brings some of their favorite things costing $10 or less to the party. Then, each person gets to bring home some of the favorite things that their friends brought. For this exchange, each person chose their favorite things costing $10 or less and sent them to two other people. Then we received favorite things from 2 other people.
My two packages went out to Missy and Liz. I decided to include multiple favorite things in my packages, so they each actually got 3 things from me:
Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes
These are the best things for removing makeup and cleaning your face after sweating, etc.!
For an inexpensive polish, I find this brand works really well. I think this is approximately the color that I sent!
The third thing that I sent was a small notebook that I found at Target. I explained that I was sending it because writing is one of my favorite things.
Now, what I received!
My first package came from Mandie:
An adult coloring book of flowers that Mandie finds bright and cheery – and so do I!
A pack of colored pencils to use to color with – and I have been getting a lot of use out of them!
And a box of Swedish Fish for a snack while coloring. Unfortunately I cannot eat them, but they will be passed along!
My second package came from Paige:
Babyganics Hand Sanitizer which Paige tells me she uses all the time! I plan to use it for travel purposes.
Everyone Body Lotion – it says it’s coconut and lemon, but I’m happy to report it is more lemony than coconutty and I really like it!
I did not know Mandie or Paige before this swap and an added benefit of receiving swaps from them is that now I follow them both! I can’t wait to see what other favorites people sent and received because I have an idea that maybe I will treat myself to trying a few of the other ideas!
